This privacy policy applies to the Android Apps app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by MICHAEL E. L. MATULESSY (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

This Application uses Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF) to manage file downloads and storage. This modern approach means:

• User Control: You have complete control over where your downloaded files are saved
• Folder Selection: You choose the specific folder location for downloads through Android's built-in folder picker
• Limited Access: The app only accesses the folder you explicitly grant permission to - nothing else
• No Broad Storage Access: We do not request broad storage permissions or access your entire device storage
• Revocable Permissions: You can revoke folder access at any time through Android settings

Downloaded Content

When you download content through this Application:

• File Location: Files are saved to your chosen folder location only
• File Types: Downloaded files may include .mcaddon, .mcpack, .mcworld, or .zip files for Minecraft
• Local Storage: All downloaded files are stored locally on your device
• No Upload or Transmission: Downloaded files are never uploaded, transmitted, or sent to our servers or third parties
• User Ownership: You maintain full ownership and control of all downloaded files
• No Content Analysis: We do not scan, analyze, read, or process the contents of your downloaded files

Folder Preferences

The Application stores your folder selection preferences to provide a seamless download experience:

• Preference Storage: Your chosen download folder location is remembered for convenience
• Local Storage Only: Folder preferences are stored locally on your device using Android's secure preference system
• Revocable Access: You can change or revoke folder access at any time

This Application requests the following permissions:

• Internet Access: To download content from remote servers (Firebase Storage)

• Read Media (Android 13+): For modern Android compatibility (scoped to your selected folders only)

Location Information

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Third-Party Services (UPDATED)

This Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

• Google Play Services - For app distribution and updates
• Firebase Storage - For hosting downloadable content
• Google AdMob - For displaying advertisements (if applicable)

File Downloads: When you download files, they are retrieved directly from Firebase Storage to your chosen device location. Files are not processed, analyzed, or stored by any third-party service during this process.

How to Manage Your Data

To manage your downloaded files and preferences:

• Remove Downloaded Files: Use your device's file manager to delete content from your chosen folder
• Change Download Folder: Select a new folder when prompted in the app's download dialog
• Revoke Folder Access: Go to Android Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Permissions > Files and media
• Clear App Preferences: Go to Android Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage > Clear Data
• Uninstall App: Standard Android uninstall process removes all app data

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and implements the following security measures:

For Downloaded Content:

• Secure Downloads: All files are downloaded over secure HTTPS connections
• Local Storage Only: Files remain on your device and are never transmitted elsewhere
• User-Controlled Access: Only you control access to your downloaded files through Android's permission system
• No Content Scanning: We do not scan, analyze, or process your downloaded file contents
• Encryption in Transit: All data transfers use industry-standard encryption

For App Data:

• Physical Safeguards: Secure server infrastructure for app services
• Electronic Safeguards: Encrypted data transmission and secure APIs
• Procedural Safeguards: Limited access controls and regular security reviews

Information Disclosure

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process
• When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request
• With their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement

Downloaded Files: Your downloaded files are never disclosed, shared, or transmitted to any third parties.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Downloaded files remain on your device under your control. If you'd like the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at muhammadcaesaraditya@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.

Children's Privacy

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (muhammadcaesaraditya@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy.
